He referred to the announcement made lately by the company that company, corporation and individual domain names registration is now available.
He added that taking into consideration the large number of Internet users in Egypt, expected to exceed 0.5 million users by next year, and in cooperation with the Information and Decision Support Center, the company started providing all necessary technical technologies for making this service available for the first time to the Egyptian market and Middle East.
He highlighted that an agreement has been signed with Link Egypt and Internet Egypt to develop this service in Egypt and that the prospective number of users asking for this server wont be less than 10% of the total number of Internet users.
He also explained that in order to use this service the end user would only need an Internet browser that supports the Arabic language. i-DNS.net is now in the process of overcoming problems caused by the resemblance in Arabic names and has made several visits to Arab countries to demonstrate the objective of this new technology. The visits had some fast outcome such as the endorsement of protocols and the consent of Network Solutions Registry, responsible for domain names registration of the company, on providing domain name services in Arabic for the Arab region.
