i-DNS EXPANDS NETWORK OF DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION

Thailand, Thai Post, 7 August 2000 -- A news report from i-DNS.net International indicates that the company has joined hands with eNIC, a high-level worldwide Dot-CC registrar, giving eNIC the rights to register domain names in many languages, using i-DNS technology developed by i-DNS. The service will start with Chinese, Japanese and Korean, with Arabic, Thai and Tamil to be included by year-end in accordance with international market trend.

Brian Cartmale, chairman and CEO of eNIC Corporation says the alliance is one of eNIC's most important strategies because it provides multi-language domain name registration service without having to rely on other software for support. At present, every Web user benefits from a flexible system with many language choices. The support of i-DNS will lead to a huge increase in Internet usage in a society that uses different languages - thereby contributing to worldwide application of Internet.

In the past, domain name registration was only in Roman and English characters, but with multi-language domain name technology, new registrars are able to register for a more exact target group on the Web - while retaining the identity and language roots, thanks to i-DNS Unicode technology. Presently, there are more than 55 supporting languages including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Hebrew, Russian, Thai and Tamil, together with acceptable multi-decryption. Furthermore, this technology will be fully compatible with popular Internet browsers that are widely used. In addition, this technology can be used with the present domain name system.
