i-DNS targets Internet in Thai domain name market

Thailand, Thai Rath, 4 February 2000 -- Michael Ng, CEO of i-DNS.net International, the pioneer of i-DNS (Internationalized Domain Name System) technology, announced its partnership with leading Thai Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to promote the availability and registration of Thai domain names. He said until today, domain names could be registered only by using the English alphabet. Powered with technology developed by i-DNS.net, users will now be able to sign up with three leading Thai ISPs, KSC, Loxinfo, and CS Internet for domain names using the Thai script. The service is free of charge for subscribers who register within the first three months.

The i-DNS CEO said "Over 80 percent of the world population are non-native English speakers.
