Online, ZDNet.com, 22 September 2000 -- i-DNS.net International today launched its Registry Operator outsourcing solutions for administrators who wish to outsource maintenance of their domain name registry.

This service is targeted at Country-Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) administrators worldwide.

Backed by US-based General Atlantic Partners LLC, i-DNS.net has been working with Network Solutions Registry, Melbourne IT, HKNet, eNIC Corp. and dotTV Corp. to deploy its Internationalized Domain Name System (i-DNS) - a technology that allows domain names to be registered and used in different non-English languages.

The collective effort has to date, resulted in technology and registration service launches across the globe in over 20 languages.
