Singapore, InfoTech, June 2001 -- Lycos Asia has launched its Chinese e-mail address service for users in Hong Kong and China through a tie-up with i-EMAIL.net, a multi-lingual messaging provider.

The service offers the option of using Chinese user-names in traditional and simplified Chinese characters for e-mail addresses when one signs up for a cOntact account, Lycos Asia's free Web-based multi-lingual communications product.
