China, Market and Computer, September 2000 -- Internationalized Domain Name System (i-DNS.net International Inc.) has announced an agreement to provide key multilingual enabling technology to the Network Solutions Registry (NSI Registry), an Internet locator service, to enable domain names to be registered and used in major non-English languages. i-DNS.net is the first multilingual Internet technology provider to enable popular .com, .net and .org domain names to be registered in non-English languages.
The NSI Registry has more than 19 million names registered to date, and is currently offering its multilingual domain name registration services through more than 60 ICANN-accredited registrars around the world.
