Start of Internet Site Registration in Arabic

埃及, Al Alam El Youm, 2000年5月25日 -- i-DNS.net International announced yesterday the start of its service to register Internet domain names in Arabic or any other language, without changing the existing DNS system.

The company announced also that company and individual domain names registration will be provided by two local companies: Link Egypt and Internet Egypt.

During the press conference held by the company and its two local partners, Lo Pang Hee, i-DNS.net Chief Operating Officer, made the announcement. The necessary software will be offered free of charge to users, either directly through i-DNS.net site or through registrars in Egypt.

"We chose Egypt to be the first Arab country to provide this service. There are 250 thousand Internet users in Egypt and we expect this number to double very soon," said Wael Nasr, i-DNS.net International Middle Manager. "We are looking forward to cooperating with the Egyptian government in this field, especially e-commerce in Arabic and other services aiming to enlarge the base of Internet users in the Arab world.
