埃及, Al Akhbar, 2000年5月25日 -- Egypt was chosen to be the first Arab country to use Internet in Arabic. A world leading Internet Technology Company started implementing its program to access Internet sites in Arabic. Users will be able to enter these sites without using English through a program developed by the above company to register the domain names in more than 55 languages. The new program does not cancel the possibility of entering the sites in English or reading the web pages. Arabic will become an international language and the program will develop e-commerce, thus enabling Egyptians to compete internationally. I-DNS.net appointed two Egyptian companies to register the names in Egypt.
